Game

In September, we implemented a game for the individual students, student groups, and others who use our site. Each week, when we post a new map, people are invited to submit their guesses for what each map represents. Anybody who submits the correct answer on Monday, when there are no hints offered, will receive five points. Thereafter, a person who submits on a subsequent day will receive fewer points based on how many hints have been offered. We have separate categories for individuals, for classroom groups, and for non-students. We keep track of the leaders on this page, posting each week’s top ten from the non-student category and all correct answers from the student and class categories.

We recently completed a five-week challenge to crown a “spring champion.” Click here to see the results of that challenge. You can also read about our last five-week challenge, which crowned our “winter champion” in December and January, at this link.
